It’s defined by repetitive motion such as running, swimming or cycling. It can also tone muscles. It also builds strength. It’s defined by activities with short bursts of energy, such as weight lifting, playing sports and even pushing a lawn mower. Ideally, you need both resistance exercise and aerobic exercise to keep your body operating at its peak.

5

Simple ways work for getting fit – you don’t need to join a gym. If you become more active in your everyday life – such as parking your car further and walking more, taking the stairs instead of the elevator, or even walking to a co-worker’s desk instead of emailing them – you’ll get fit faster.

6

Your metabolism doesn’t slow with age. It’s just that as people get older they do less strength-training and can lose lean muscle mass. The more lean muscle tissue you have, the higher your metabolism – and the faster you’ll lose weight. Keep your exercise and activity levels up each year, and you’ll simultaneously maintain your muscle tone, keep your metabolism up and maximize healthy weight loss.

7

At least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity activity, at least five times each week, will keep you physically active. You can split each half hour into three 10-minute sessions. If 30 minutes are out of reach right now, start with what you can do and gradually build up.

8

Keep hydrated by consuming at least two liters of water each day. It is even more important to drink water before, during and after exercise. Even low-intensity exercise requires you to be well-hydrated.

Or do you think so?

Well, It made sense that our body needs the nutrients from our food primarily from our body.

But Do you think we supply it with the right amount of nutrients??

Fact no 1: Our body needs about 114 vitamins and nutrients everyday. But we barely supply half of it, even a quarter of it. Infact, we only supply about 10 nutrients per day (taking in account a breakfast consists of a burger, chips, donuts, cakes, and a cup of coffee or tea). In conclusion, we don't supply enough vitamins, minerals a.k.a nutrients to our body.

Fact no 2: Its about quality not quantity. Most people think that eating like a king is eating as much as you can in the morning. Well, that is a misleading thought. By eating a large amount of meal in the morning, the excess carbohydrate will be converted to fat. Which causes more gain weight. But if we eat a balanced meal, fruits, vegetables, nuts that contains lots of vitamins in a generous amount. We can say that it is a balanced and wholesome breakfast.

Fact no 3: Protein based breakfast is more beneficial than carbohydrate based breakfast. It is because protein based food does not induce too much secretion of insulin. But if a richly carbohydrate based food is consumed everyday, it causes excessive secretion of insulin which will turn the glucose into glycogen. Uncontrolled conversion rate of glucose to glycogen is not healthy because it causes conversion of excess glucose to fat and the fluctuating rate of insulin level in the blood vessel.

Therefore, as a suggestion, you may want to look for a full nutrient, mostly protein based food for your breakfast, in sensible amount as it shows that eating like a king is not about quantity but quality.

happy breakfasting!

A Way to a Healthier You

Have you been thinking lately about your health?

Perhaps you always think that there is something you want to change about your health or body, but couldn't really figure out what to exactly to change.

Don't be stressed. Its normal and I have experienced it too..so do many people that I know personally.

Health comprised of wellness in terms of physical and emotional wellness, this includes spiritual too..

Below is WHO definition of Health ,

"Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity."

Indeed, it is.
